Pricing Guide — Market + Markup
Use the market price
- The game shows a market / suggested price for goods. Use it as your baseline, not a wild guess.
- After you stock a shelf, always set the price. Forgetting this is a common early mistake — items sit unsold or sell at a bad default.
Packs: market + about 10%
Soft rule (community)
Many players price booster packs around market price + ~10%. Enough margin to grow the shop without scaring off regulars.
- Singles and specialty items may tolerate different markups — still start near market and nudge.
- If a SKU stops moving, drop toward market before clearing the shelf for something hotter.
Avoid >20% markup (usually)
High markup risk
Community tips often warn that pushing much past ~20% over market can tank sale rates. Occasional rare singles are an exception; everyday packs usually are not.
Recheck every couple of days
- Market values drift. A price that was fine Monday can be wrong by midweek.
- Habit: walk the shelves every 1–2 in-game days, compare to market, adjust winners and laggards.
- New stock = new price check. Don’t copy yesterday’s number blindly after a market shift.
Never forget to price after stocking
- Place boxes on the labeled shelf.
- Open pricing for that shelf / item.
- Set to market + your chosen markup (~10% packs).
- Spot-check a sale to confirm customers accept it.
